Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is also commonly referred to as the “Northern Palace” because it is the furthest north when compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeongheegung (Western Palace). Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful and remains the grandest of all five palaces which was destroyed by fire at the time of Japanese occupation from 1592-1598. However, all of the palace's 7,700 rooms were later restored under the leadership of Heungseondaewongun during the reign of King Gojong (1852~1919) .

Rice Cake Museum was opened to show people the many kinds of tteok and disappearing tteok traditions. Tteok is not only one of Korea’s most symbolic foods, but also one of its oldest. Korea has been producing tteok for about 2,000 years, going back to the Three Kingdom’s Period. Indeed, one of the things most fascinating about the displays is the mind-boggling diversity of sizes, shapes and colors in which tteok manifests itself.
Running through the center of Seoul, the Han River comes alive at night with glimmering lights and a unique atmosphere. The night views of the city lights create a dreamy effect.

Nami Island is the location where many scenes were shot. Special feature of Namiseom Island is that there are no telephone poles. This is because all electric wires were built underground to keep the natural feeling of the landscape.
In the drama Winter Sonata, Yu-jin and Jun-sang promise to meet Chunchon Myong Dongd on New Year's Eve. Yu-jin waits outside in the cold not realizing that Jun-sang was in a car accident. The two return to the scene 10 years later. 
Hwaseong Fortress is the official fortress of Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do, from the latter days of the Joseon Period (1392-1910). In the drama Daejangguem, scenes of little Jang-geum undergoing training at the palace in episodes 3 and 4, the cooking competition in episode 8, the training of women doctors and Naeuiwon (medical facility in the palace) scenes in the latter episodes.
Deoksu Palace is one of the smallest Palaces among the five in Seoul, Deoksugung Palace is famous for its elegant stone-wall road. It is also the only palace that sits alongside a series of western style buildings that add to the uniqueness of the surrounding scenery.

Begin the tour by heading to Korean Drama “Daejanggeum’ Film Site – MBC TV Studio. Daejanggeum Theme Park is the first drama theme park to open in Korea.
We proceed to Mt. Sorak National Park which is one of the best spots in the country to enjoy the beautiful mountain and the scenic landscape all year round. Afterwhich, visit Jeongdongjin Beach which is renowned for it’s railway nearest to the beach in Guinness World Record.
